Refund Policy

This policy applies to all Trusty Finance customers located in Australia.

In line with your loan agreement and to the extent permitted by law, payments made towards your loan are generally non-refundable. This includes payments that are:

  • Made in accordance with your loan contract or any related documentation
  • Made by you or on your behalf where you have authorised us or our third-party providers
  • Overpayments that exceed your required repayment obligations

While payments are typically non-refundable, Trusty Finance may consider refund requests at our discretion—for example, if your bank requests a reversal under the ePayments Code.

If a refund of an overpayment is approved:

  • We’ll process the refund within 7 business days of approval
  • Please note: your bank may take additional time to release the funds, which may result in a delay beyond the 7-day period
  • Refunds can only be returned to the Direct Debit account linked to your loan
